Just your average medical student turned hippie software developer.

Before I was developing software, I was studying biology with the intention of moving on to med school. To gain experience, I worked and volunteered as an EMT on calls and at the local adult emergency room. There were parts of it that I enjoyed, yet I could feel a growing sense that medicine was not where I belonged. So in my time off work, I pursued a new hobby that would go on to become my future career.

I began programming almost daily in late 2020; I studied hard from information I found online in addition to the help that I got from friends studying computer science. I participated in a hackathon as well as developed software for a group project that ended up on the app store. It was difficult but incredibly rewarding. After completing a bootcamp with the University of Central Florida, I feel more ready than ever to tackle my new passion.
